If you've read my previous text, you've already know which blogs are my TOP 3. If you haven't, check it out.
It's been a few years now that I'm a fan of blogs. Back then, they weren't so popular as they do now. They didn't have their instagram accounts nor podcasts. They could perfectly live in a incognito mode. What am I aiming at? I have a great memory for faces (maybe I'll write sth about it later, but believe, I could easily work for FBI as an agent of some kind). In 2017 I've encountered a blog Halo Ziemia which astonished me. It was pure love, kindness and empathy. I've read dozens of the articles and even bought a book by the author, Konrad Kruczkowski, called Halo Tato, a compilation of reportages of fatherhood, I gave it to my father on Father's Day. When I was going back alone from my trip to Budapest in 2017 I was at the Cracow's central station and I saw Konrad, who lives there. I couldn't help myself, I approached and said to him that I admire his style, I added that he's doing a great job. He was quite shocked and shy, but it made my day, I hope his in some way too. I do think that we should acknowledge good job and compliment each other. The same happened few months ago at my work, in a restaurant where I'm a waitress. Each waiter has its own area. On my way to the kitchen I saw a blogger, Zorkownia, sitting at the table with her friends, I guess celebrating sth. No wonder, she lives in Poznań and I saw before on her instagram's stories that she have eaten at my place before. I told my friend that he can mention sth that would be nice for her. He's quite a droll, so while I was passing by he said to her:
- Ms. Agnieszka! That's your psychofan (pointing at me ofc), watch out!
As before, I told her some words of admiration. She was very pleased. Her girlfriends were laughing that she's some kind of a celebrity.
I totally recommend to you her ted talk, it's extremely touching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmtE8lbB720
She describes her volunteering in an amazing way with a great touch of genuinity. As a teeneger I used to be a volunteer at hospice for people in coma, so I can relate.
