If you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it

As you might have noticed before, I am a huge fan and a proud member of unusual facebook groups. This time I want to give you a glance from my group called: That's it, I'm ring shaming.
Nowadays, it's very common to share a picture of your engagement ring (or it's abbreviation ER) right after the proposal. There is a saying: to each his own, but this group is ready to roast your ring. Some of the rings are quite cheesy, some are simply cheap and ugly so it's not so difficult to beef them. The most challenging to comment ones are the nice one. There are range of creepy jewelry.

Thanks to that group I found out that now, people tend to give their partners promise ring. What's that? That something between an engagement ring and nothing. When you're quite committed but not too much. It symbolize your love and gives another person hope for the future. It's not as much outstanding as the ER. In the United States, ER's price should be an equivalent of three monthly salaries; for that reason it's obvious that some people can not afford that, that's why they go for the promise ring.
