Put your hands up in the air

I’ve just realized that most of the best memories that I have
are strictly related to the music. There’s no such a thing in the whole world
that could bring me so much joy.
When I was young and wild and free I’ve spend huge amount of money
on the music festivals. When I was a rebellious 15 yo I was begging my parents for months
so I could go to Orange Warsaw Festival. My dream at a time was to be a part of  a huge crowd in front of the Linkin Park’s show.
A year after that I was running from one Opener’s stage to another.
I’ve been to Gdynia 3 times and I went to the concerts of Kings of Leon, Alt-J,
Foals, Daughter, Banks, A$AP ROCKY, Drake, Alabama Shakes, Die Antwoord.
I came back to OWF stage to listen to Florence and the Machine, The Kooks,
Bombay Bicycle Club.
Then I found out that Live Festival in Cracow also has a magnificent
line-up with Kendrick Lamar, The Rudimental and The Maccabees as a headliners.
One of my friends gave me the best gift for my 18th birthday.
She took me to Rzeszów (over 10 hours by train from Toruń).
I was singing with my  crush Harry McVeigh the best hits of White Lies.
Then, for some reason I’ve stopped going to the music festivals.
Every summer I work abroad and this is the main reason why.
Still, there are many concerts that I would kill to get the tickets for.
On my pending list are: RHCP, Radiohead, Metallica, Kasabian, Glass Animals,
Childish Gambino, Michael Kiwanuka, C. Tangana, Dellafuente, Pimp Flaco, Rosalía, Arcade Fire, Sampha,
and so on, and so on.
I wish I could go to Coachella one day but it’s highly unlikely. However,
Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and Primavera Sound are manageable.
Stay tuned cause next weekend you’re about to find out
which are my favourite songs and what they gave me.
