Hidden gem!

One day while I was an Au Pair in Spain my host said to me: Oliwia, get ready!
In 20 minutes (130 km from Barcelona; only by car) we’ll be in the most colorful place
in Catalunya! He was right! We entered a small village full of murals. In Penelles live approx.500 habitants. There, few years ago started a festival Gargar that invites the street artist to the village.
They have some sort of a contest, the best mural wins.
That’s way the village is full of numerous  vivid murals. I was shocked that the whole village could be so surprising. Soon there won’t be any plain
space left!
Even the Town Hall is covered with the birds!
I’m extremely glad that my host have showed me this spot.
Without his local insight I would never get to know a thing about it!
I adjust a quick video that shows the opinion of the local people and the mayor. Unfortunately it’s in Catalan…

Which mural is your favourite? Let me know!
